Control Devil Arc Overview

Warning: The Control Devil Arc contains the highest concentration of character deaths in Chainsaw Man. Nearly every major character from Part 1 either dies or is fundamentally transformed by the arc's events.

Power's death represents the culmination of her character arc. The selfish, narcissistic devil we met in the Bat Devil Arc dies making a selfless sacrifice for her friend. The final battle against Makima is the culmination of the entire Part 1 narrative. Makima, in full Control Devil mode, deploys her extensive arsenal of dominated devils against Denji. Denji, with Power's blood and Pochita's support, must find a way to defeat an enemy who seems invincible.
