Early Combat: Raw Power
Denji's early fights rely on brute chainsaw power. Victory over the Zombie Devil establishes the pattern: transform, attack relentlessly, win through damage output and regeneration. His raw power overshadows his early lack of technique.
Creative Mastery
Denji's true growth is tactical. Against the Eternity Devil, he invents victory through perpetual pain. Against Katana Man, he uses chain mobility. Against Makima, he exploits her perception-based control by attacking as Denji, not Chainsaw Man. His greatest weapon is unconventional thinking.
The Hero of Hell
When Pochita takes control, Denji's body becomes the Hero of Hell: a four-armed black chainsaw monster feared across all devil-kind. This form demonstrates the chainsaw power at its absolute peak, but at the cost of Denji's consciousness and identity.
